Today in class we watched a movie.
A movie full of laughter, fun, and wait we actually learned something?
Wait, wait wait...we learned something AND enjoyed it?
That is correct!
I enjoyed so much that I am copying to clips of the movie "Leisurama" below!
Both clips talk about housing along with other events that were going on at the time. In the first clip I LOVE LOVE LOVE the older couple! They may have been my favorite part!
In the second video I find it interesting too see Nixon & Khrushchev
debating about what should and should not be including in a kitchen and other advances.
My question for you is, if a house was offered with full furniture, silverware, etc and
at an incredibly low price would you buy a house from Macy's?
I am not to sure if I would or not!
I think I would want to be able to decorate my own house. However, they
were selling these as "second homes" which then fully
furnished is a great idea!
