Double duty chef

Lately every time I make breakfast, I have been making a second meal as well. For instance:
  • Last week I made Eggs and Biscuits at the same time I was making Salmon and Broccoli
  • This morning I made French Toast and over easy eggs at the same time I was boiling water to cook hard boiled eggs for Egg Sandwhiches
  • When I was chopping fruit up for my yogurt parfait the other day, I was also thawing chicken for dinner
I have learned (especially with my work schedule) that this is an AMAZING trick. I am already in my "cooking" mood, already going to have to make dishes dirty and then clean them a few minutes later....so why not cook two meals at once? It is such a time saver!!! However, be aware that if you try this method the mixture of such different foods can smell pretty bizarre! ;)
