Dental Work

Tomorrow I going to the dentist! Last time I went to the dentist, was when I had my wisdom teeth removed. Which in case you did not know, that happened spring break my Senior year at WESTWOOD (AKA it has been 5 1/2 years since I have been to one YIKES!!!). 

I told my mom I was nervous about getting an appointment. It is not because I think they will tell me I have horrible teeth, I know I am lucky enough to be the opposite of horrible teeth. However, that is due to a lot of hard work at flossing, using mouthwash twice daily, and brushing my teeth multiple times a day as well. I was not scared of the actual dentist appointment, I was nervous about actually making the appointment. This is the first time I have had my own insurance company. How am I supposed to know whats covered, who to go to, and even more so who is a reliable dentist that I will love. 

Turns out, the internet makes all that very simple. I am going to a dentist tomorrow morning that is about two minutes from my house. When I called to make the appointment they were super nice and very helpful. They also give free teeth whitening to all of their patients - for life. How amazing is that? 

So tomorrow I go in to get a routine cleaning, oral examination, and my teeth whitened - all at the early hour of 7:00AM! 

I am excited to  be on the road back to normal healthy life. If I get sick it is covered. If I get a tooth pain, it is covered. I am excited to be able to say I am fully covered with insurance. Basically everywhere. My car (well AnTjuans car), my teeth, and my body! Insurance is wonderful. Who knew being healthy could be SO cheap, all you need is a little insurance. :)
