I saw this in Facebook and I thought it was amazing. No one is ever going to be absolutely perfect. We all make good and sometimes bad decisions. It is up to us to take responsibility for where those decisions land us. So just remember on a day to day basis, whatever you choose has it's own outcome.

"Jim"

This made me laugh! Ironically I found this on the week that I have started going to the gym again. I have ran 4.8 miles so far this week. It isn't a ton, but it is a start. :)
Happy Saturday everyone!

I have friends in all the right places

When I was in elementary school my favorite candy was crispy m&m's. However in junior high they were discontinued, even though they were the best selling m&m's in America.
When I went to Australia THEY HAD THEM THERE! I was so excited and would eat them all of the time. I brought some home with me, but not enough to last more then a couple of months.
Well for the last year and a half I have had them at my house. For my birthday (or Christmas I can't remember) last year my friend Erin had some shipped to America from her friend who was studying abroad in England. Then in March my friend Mary went to Sweden and she brought me back some. Then today my friend Lorena got back from Romania and she brought me some!!
I am so lucky............until my supply runs out. :( However, for now I will enjoy every single one I eat.

Last Weekend
This past weekend I had such a great weekend! On Friday I stayed home and had a very lazy night. I don't remember a single thing I did, which means it was the perfect lazy night.

Saturday I went to the baseball game with the Yoder's at Chase Field. It was The Rockies verses The Diamondbacks and so I was cheering whenever anything went on....regardless of which team it was for. In the end the Diamondbacks won and I had a great time.
Then on Sunday I spent the day with my mom. She was out of
town for my birthday and so that day was the day we celebrated our birthdays together.
We started off the morning with an hour long massage at Massage Envy. I had the masseuse focus on my shoulder to try and help make it feel better for the day.
Then after that we went and got pedicures and manicures. It was a true pamper me day, which who doesn't love that? Mom and I actually got very close to the same nail polish color. Hers had a little more copper tone then mine did though.
After leaving the salon we drove to our favorite breakfast restaurant and had some yummy eggs benedict! It is hard to find a good one, so about once a month we go out to brunch together there.
After lunch we went our separate ways and I headed home. After a couple of hours , Christine asked if I could Skype. So I spent about an hour skyping with Christine, Aiden and Joshua. I cannot believe how strong Aiden is getting! Everytime he did something I was shocked. That call was the absolute perfect ending to my wonderful weekend.
How was your weekend? Did you stay in or go out and try something new? Let me know!
I forgot to take pics of the events this weekend so the few pics I did take are below:

True Love
Every day on my lunch break I look at three websites. I start with Perez Hilton (celebrity gossip), CNN (try and act like an adult. Maybe find an article or two) and then Yahoo (news, but not as serious as CNN). Today when I was on Yahoo I read this article here. It is such a touching story about a man who would do anything to get his wife of 58 years a new kidney.
He would walk around town wearing a sign that said "Need Kidney 4 wife" with his phone number listed underneath. "One day he walked for 15 miles in 97-degree heat, the next a remarkable 54 miles — all with torn cartilage in his knee." How sweet is that? Watch the video below to see how they found their donor. Another thing to watch for in that video, is the love he has for his wife. Beautiful story and hopefully they get several more years together in the future.

RIP Aaron

When news broke on Monday of Aaron's passing it was obvious he was someone the world is going to miss. So many people wrote on his Facebook wall about all of the great memories they shared with Aaron, myself included.
He was the one person in high school that even though he had a car, would sit with me for an hour and hang out while I waited for my ride. Once I got my car, if he was ever without a ride I would do the same thing. One of those times we were waiting, we went to Jack In The Box and I paid for both of our meals. After that time, he would always says "Chelsea, don't let me forget to take you out for that fancy dinner I owe you" which we both knew meant Jack In The Box. I never got that lunch date, and now never will. However, every time I see Jack In The Box I will laugh about our pending "fancy" dinner date.
Luckily, he was not someone I only saw in high school. He was someone who I continued to see throughout the pass seven years since we graduated. This is in large thanks to out mutual Friends Sarah and Dustee. I am thankful they were able to show him the sides of him I had never seen.
While he was taken way too soon, I will forever be grateful for getting to meet such a wonderful person. He deserved to live a longer life, however even though it was short I know he had a great life.
Through all of this I keep thinking of his best friends, girlfriend and his first son Noah that is due in December. It is such a shame his son will never get to hear his dads laugh or see him get so low on the dance floor, it would embarrass his son I am sure. To someone who loved to have a good time, I hope that trait gets passed on to his son.
I know my blog is basically a place where I (occasionally) write about my feelings and majority of the time it goes unnoticed. However on the off chance a generous stranger tumbles across my blog, I want to leave this link.

It is a website his best friend Sarah set up to get donations for the family and his unborn son.
RIP Aaron. You will forever be remembered <3
