Life as a Senior

I am officially through the first week of my senior year in college. I am not sure if this semester will exactly be easy but I do feel it will help me grow a lot as a person and a student... makes me feel a lot better about how much college tuition is these days.

I am lucky enough to only have class three days a week. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (as well as one online communication class). In my design class Creative Environment the teacher is very fun, and has a different style of teaching then most other professors. He dedicates the first five minutes of every class to meditation and 25% of our grade goes towards keeping a journal (three pages in length) EVERY single day. He makes a lot of random jokes and truly wants the best for his students. He also reads one poem in every class after meditation. When I go to class I do not feel like I am really learning much about design, however I do feel like I will learn a lot about what inspires me to be creative.

Then in one of my communication classes I have the most awkward, sarcastic, innovative teachers I have ever met. He likes to sit in a chair in the front of the class, and just stare at everyone. He gets a good laugh at seeing everyones reaction. He says one of the biggest reasons he loves being a teacher is because he can make awkward situations and see how the students react. Let me tell you, he is the MASTER of turning any moment into an uncomfortable, slightly odd and funny one.

The other classes have yet to stand out to me but I will post more about them as I get more into the semester. :)

I am fully moved into the sorority dorms and now just have to organize everything how I see fit. As soon as that gets done there will be pictures posted!
