5 years

Today I celebrate my five year anniversary with my best friend! It is crazy how FAST these first five years have gone, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. I think, a huge part of our relationship is that we are best friends. We started off by being friends for over two years, before we started to actually date each other. That friendship that we started off with, has made our relationship a successful one. We know how to make one another laugh, we are constantly there for one another when times are hard, and we aren't afraid to be ourselves around one another.

Today we are going to celebrate our anniversary by going to our new favorite breakfast place Matt's BIG breakfast. The toast and pancakes they serve there are UHmazing! Then we are either going to a movie or going to go hiking, and will finish the day off by going out to somewhere for dinner. Yes....two restaurants, in one day. However, that is our thing. We LOVE going to movies together, and we love exploring new restaurants. So that is how we will spend our day....and I can't wait!

Last week I was saying we needed to basically hold an academy award show to honor our five year anniversary...because it is so special. That is who I am though, I like to throw big events. I am already planning my birthday....and it isn't even until August. However, AnTjuan is completely the opposite. He loves and appreciates the fact that we have been together for five years....however he doesn't need the big shibang to know it is special. So, we found a happy medium. Now I am off to go enjoy our special day! :)
