Last night I made a DELICIOUS dinner and so I thought I would share the recipe. It is incredibly easy to make and taste like a professional chef made it. I served it with white rice and green beans and it all went very well together. I listed the ingredients and directions below. I had all but one thing off of the ingredient list as well, so it was nice to not have to purchase any items I won't ever use again. Here you go:
Ingredients:
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic clove crushed
1/4 teaspoon ginger
3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (I did less then that because I am a wimp lol)
1/4 cup apple juice
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon corn starch (if you want a thicker sauce)
Directions:
Chop chicken into cubes, place olive oil in pan. Cook chicken until lightly brown and then remove chicken from stove.
In a large bowl place all other ingredients. Stir until mostly blended and add chicken in.
Stir chicken until all pieces are covered in sauce. Place back in frying pan, including extra sauce.
Reduce heat and simmer on low for 20 minutes.
Enjoy:)
